Marlin has practiced psychotherapy and mind/body treatment for the past 33 years. His career began in 1992 at Roxbury Dual Diagnostic Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA. Following 3 years at Roxbury providing both inpatient and outpatient services he then accepted a position at Clear Concepts Counseling in Lewistown PA. facilitating adolescent and adult Intensive Outpatient Programs as well as holding an Individual schedule where he still practices today. 

He also held the occupancy of the office of Counseling Supervisor at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown for 15 years, established Natural Healthcare Consultants, a private practice providing alternative medicine as well as Conner’s Equine using acupuncture and massage therapy to provide comfort and healing for horses including one of his passionate specialties, Horse Whispering. 

He is also a recovering addict alcoholic of 45 years and in 1986 experienced his first awakening at the Caron Foundations Breakthrough Program in Wernersville PA after immersing into the shadow work of childhood and adolescent trauma.
